Appendix for the paper 9/56 year Cycles: Earthquakes & Volcanoes.

Curso Geografia Del Mar
listed major tsunamis that occurred on coastal Chile since the mid 16th century. The biggest tsunami events (categories 3 & 4) gave 14 events, of which 8 occurred in the 8.5 months ended those years in Table A. In contrast, 3.0 could have been expected by chance. Strangely, Region del Biobio experienced no events within the 9/56 patterns. If the full 35 events were considered (all categories 1 to 4), significance was extinguished.
