Appendix for the paper 9/56
year Cycle: Earthquakes & Volcanoes.
The Ohio Seismic
Network listed some 85 Ohio earthquakes (mag =>3.0) that occurred between
1800 and 2005 (see Table A). Of this figure, 29 took place in the 12 months
beginning January 1 of those 9/56 years in Table B this appendix (significant: p < 10-4). Curiously, of the 85 Ohio earthquakes (mag =>3.0), none occurred in December
and only four happened in the
two months commencing November 15 (p <.01).
