Appendix for the paper 9/56 year Cycles: Earthquakes & Volcanoes.


The USGS listed 20 major earthquakes for Iran during the 20th century, of which 15 occurred in year ending August 31 of those years in the 9/56 year patterns (see Table A) (significant at p < .001).

The National Geophysical Data Center listed some 21 major Iranian quakes in the 20th century. Of this figure, 14 fell within the 9 months ending December 15 of those years in the 9/56 year patterns as shown in Table B (significant p < 10-4).
