Appendix for the paper 9/56 year Cycles: Earthquakes & Volcanoes.


The USGS listed 20 major earthquakes for Iran during the 20th century, of which 15 occurred in 12 months beginning September 1 of those years in the 9/56 year patterns (see Table B this appendix) (highly significant at p < .001).

The National Geophysical Data Center listed some 21 major quakes in the 20th century (see Table C). Of this figure, 14 fell within the 9 months commencing March 15 of those years in the 9/956 year patterns as shown in Table D (highly significant p < 10-4).
